Time for a Julie Update

What?

Its Friday so it seems like a fitting time for a Julie update. Every day she gets more and more comfortable with us and with Maddie. It seems with every passing day that quiet little pug slips away more to reveal an energetic little puppy.

We thought that simply because of her aggressive play that Maddie might assume the dominant role. Its become pretty clear in this past week that we were very wrong. There’s been more humping going on between those two than two 15 year olds at a school dance. Julie is all over Maddie when they play, constantly seizing opportunities to show her who’s the boss. The fact that their both females makes this hysterical.

They still get along great and share well unless they want to play. Many is the time that Maddie has come over to Julie with a rawhide in her mouth taunting her. Then, despite having her own rawhide, Julie takes the bate and the chase begins. Who needs tv?

We started both dogs on Frontline Wednesday. I think it may have messed with them a bit because Julie never pooped and only peed once yesterday. Maddie was under quota for poopage too. Today all seems right though so we’re not worried. Tomorrow the girls will go for a little hike with us at a yet to be decided park. That should be interesting!

You’re supposed to start them on NIGHTLINE, not Frontline. Frontline is much like Crossfire and is too liberal and confusing for most puppies. Nightline, while liberal in its scope, is still pretty easy to understand.
Maybe next time you’ll know better. And when I say next time, I’m talking about when you get your third and fourth dogs - you freaks.
What’s wrong here? Girl and boy purchase large house where they can raise dogs and children.
I’ll tell you what’s wrong, you’re creating the basis for legend as the neighborhood kids scramble by saying, “That’s where old man Walker finally lost it and cut his Hyundai in half on the table saw in the garage.”
    “No way!”
“Yes way. And Billy said that Walker was seen tossing a washer and dryer in front of the commuter rail while muttering something about Craigslist being a scam.”
    “Wow, he’s one crazy m#*$&@ f*@&^$.
