There’s a ton of stuff to talk about so I think I’ll break it up into a couple of posts. No need to create a 40′ long post. First, I think I’ll talk about the the most urgent thing in our lives at the moment: Jaime is back at work.

She had her first shift last night and it was a doozy. She had to work 3pm to 3am and was none too happy about it. Its the longest she’s been away from Aidan and it was understandably difficult. I know it was hard for me to go to work that first day back but I didn’t get to bond with him as much as she has. I can’t imagine how hard it is for her.

On my side, I had to do the mommy duties for the evening with no one there to share them. Aidan was actually pretty good though with the exception of taking an hour to go to sleep after his midnight feeding. This schedule of ours is definitely going to be tricky in the beginning but hopefully Jaime can get a day shift position and make this a lot easier. This week will definitely be difficult as we try to find a groove but hopefully it won’t take us too long to get it down.
