I’m a little bummed right now. I have to go to NYC tomorrow for work. Fortunately its just for the day so there’s no overnight stay to worry about but I will have to leave early in the morning. Since Jaime is working tonight, that means we have to have Jean and Bob watch Aidan for the night. Thank God we have so much family near us so that we can even do that but I’m still a little disappointed that I don’t get to wake up tomorrow morning with my little guy next to me.

Jaime brought the Pack ‘n Play downstairs yesterday so that she could stay close to the deck in the back room. It was really nice outside so she let the dogs play out on the deck most of the day and wanted to stay close with Aidan. I was too lazy last night to contemplate bringing the Pack ‘n Play back upstairs so I decided it would be Aidan’s first night sleeping in the crib. He did really well and slept from about 8 or 8:30 until almost 2. He didn’t wake up again until around 5 when he was up for good. Of course, I wouldn’t mind that so much if I didn’t have to wake up at 6! Nothing like getting jipped out of your last hour of sleep. Really, Jaime got jipped out of the hour. I only lost about 20 minutes since it was her turn to feed him.
