Just like there are always plenty of items on the Honey-Do list, there are always plenty of items on the wish list. Neither one will ever be empty. While I’ll certainly take things for free or as gifts, this page is mostly about listing items that we’re keeping an eye out for at yard sales and Craig’s List. So, if you or someone you know of is looking to get rid of any of the things listed on this page, drop us a line!

Exercise Equipment
We’re looking to set up our basement as a little workout room so we can avoid gym memberships.

Home Gym
Bowflex type machines or even better, a nautilus style home gym that has a few stations around a center column of weights. Not interested in simple, free-weight benches. We’re getting one from a coworker. See, this thing’s working already!

Treadmill
We’d love to find a decent treadmill. Ideally it would be an old, gym-level machine but any solid machine will do. We don’t want one of those fold away type treadmills.

Elliptical Machine
This one is a long shot. Again, we want a pretty sturdy machine but they’re pretty hard to find at reasonable prices.

Tools

I am always, and probably will always be, looking for tools. Specifically I’m interested in woodowrking tools but I’m hard pressed to remember an occasion where I turned tools down.

Planer
I’m on the hunt for a planer that won’t cost an arm and a leg. I’m finding them either at $300 minimum or cheap but broken/old/never-any-good-when-they-were-new.

Jointer
Same as above, I’m always on the hunt. I won’t spend money on a small table top version bu I’d take one free. I’d love to get one with a decent infeed/outfeed table. Old iron is fine and usually better.

Table Saw
I’m using my dad’s contractor saw now but I’d love an old cabinet saw. something substantial and accurate. Again, I don’t mind throwing TLC into a neglected tool.

Bandsaw
I’d love to find an old Delta or the like. I’m looking for a 12″ or so but I’d take a small 9″ for a freebee or ridiculously cheap.

Air Nailer
I have an 18g brad aniler/stapler but I’d like a finish nailer. These are prohibitively expensive for me new but a used one might work for me.
